Perform Annual Maintenance, 6-year Service, Recharges, Hydrotesting and Replacements.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Dismantle extinguishers and examine tubing, horns, head gaskets, cutter discs, and other parts for defects. replaces worn or damaged parts.
- Clean extinguishers and recharge with various agents, including soda water and sulfuric acid, carbon tetrachloride, nitrogen or patented solutions or other.
- Test extinguishers for conformity with legal specifications.
- Install cabinets and brackets to hold extinguishers.
- Facilitate and support sales of fire extinguishers.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- or one to three years related experience and/or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record.
- Current Extinguisher Permit (If new to industry, will train and provide Contracted Fire College admission, lodging and per diem).
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Walk Stairs.
- Work off ladder.
- Lift at least 50 lbs.
